We're celebrating post #2000 with a remarkable story we'll call The Farleigh Redemption.
To take the holeshot at your first race in 13 years is pretty unique and doing so at the world-famous Vintage MX des Nations at Farleigh Castle on an ex-Doug Dubach factory YZ490 makes this feat even more special. Yet this is about much more than meets the eye. For the Shot athlete leading the pack grabbing this particular holeshot symbolised the defeat of his own demons.
After his career, Christian Burnham, a former GP rostrum finisher and multiple German champion, came close to losing everything, including his own life in his battle with addiction. Yet he found the courage and strength to redeem himself. So, how will you create your own amazing story in this new decade? And how would your post look like if we were to feature you for our next milestone? #NeverBackDown | @christianburnham73 |
