Old blackened meerschaum, I have loved thee well From youth, when smoke brought sickness in its train. Foolish I was: Manillas I disdained, And cigarettes to Burmahs did prefer, And even spumed Havana's fragrant joy; But now my mind is pained, In that my smoking days I did defer, Nor knew this pleasure when I was a boy. The mountain lies 40 km north of Kahta, near Adıyaman. In 62 BC, King Antiochus I Theos of Commagene built a tomb-sanctuary on the mountain top flanked by huge statues (8–9 m ) of himself, two lions, two eagles and various Greek, Armenian, and Iranian gods, such as Hercules-Vahagn, Zeus-Aramazd or Oromasdes (associated with the Iranic god Ahura Mazda), Tyche, and Apollo-Mithras. These statues were once seated, with names of each god inscribed on them. The heads of the statues have at some stage been removed from their bodies, and they are now scattered throughout the site. The Western terrace at sunset - Antiochus I, partly covered by snow.

At his first vote, he lost his majority, lost the vote decisively and he withdrew the whip from those of his party that voted against him. Thus his own party members who had been Chancellor (2), Lord Chancellor (1), government ministers ,some only weeks before , were now no longer party members.

His maternal grandfather owned a department store in Glasgow. Lloyd’s early business career included managing the advertising and printing of the Mazzawattee Tea Co. but in 1893 he founded his own colour printing firm ( Image 1). This became so successful that by 1909 he was able to retire and devote himself to his passions for shooting and golf. He developed Great Dixter in Sussex, which was the home of his descendant Christopher Lloyd (1921 -2006), gardener and writer. Christopher's illustrated articles were a regular feature in Country Life, and Royal Horticultural Society publications. The present York station, designed by the North Eastern Railway architects Thomas Prosser and William Peachey, opened on 25 June 1877. It had 13 platforms and was at that time the largest in the world, being midway between London and Edinburgh. All the platforms except 9, 10 and 11 are under the large, curved, glass and iron roof. The ends are reminiscent of sea shells; passengers change lines to go to East Coast seaside towns.

It had four manuals and pedals; the Solo Organ was ingeniously borrowed from ranks on the Swell and Choir, and the Pedal had no less than three full-length 32' stops, one displayed in the impressive case-front. The Tuba Mirabilis, installed in 1837, was said to be the first ever heavy-pressure solo reed stop. 🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶

The secret is environment - cool, out of direct sunlight.....and coffee grounds - lots of them. It inhibits slugs and also provides a natural source of organic feed. Another tip to keep slugs at bay is garlic water. 🐌🐌🐌🐌🐌🐌🐌🐌🐌🐌 Hosta (Funkia) is a genus of plants commonly known as hostas, plantain lilies and occasionally by the Japanese name giboshi. Hostas are widely cultivated as shade-tolerant foliage plants. The genus is currently placed in the familyAsparagaceae, subfamily Agavoideae, and is nativeto northeast Asia (China, Japan, Korea, and the Russian Far East). Like many "lilioid monocots", the genus was once classified in the Liliaceae. The genus was named by Austrian botanist Leopold Trattinnickin 1812, in honor of the Austrian botanist Nicholas Thomas Host.  In 1817, the generic name Funkia was used by German botanist Kurt Sprengel in honor of Heinrich Funk, a collector of ferns and alpines; this was later used as a common name and can be found in some older literature. 🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿

The land area is 25 km2(9.6 sq miles),[and its highest point is 754 m (2,474 ft) above sea level. @jubullo @louisalouisayoung @tomdalton0405 @harry.dalton007 @harry.dalton006 🇪🇺
