“Every experience, both the good and the bad, will eventually get you to where you are supposed to be. Every win, every loss and every mistake. Don’t be afraid to fuck up and don’t expect success overnight. Get lost, get so lost and find yourself over and over again. Work hard and don’t stop until you make yourself proud.”
With a health scare, hospital stay, all the scans, all the tests, all the appointments and specialists this summer, the one thing in my control has been my fitness/nutrition.
Nope it’s not perfect, but this is my third time going through this awesome workout program and it is my absolute fave. There have been days I physically was unable to go down to my gym and press play. There have been days where I had to modify a LOT because I can no longer do inversions or do a lot of jumping. There have been days where I’m in bed for 2 days straight and I have no idea what is going on with my body. I’ve allowed myself rest, a lot of it, and healing. ✨It’s been scary to say the least, but I finally feel like I might be getting some control back. 💪🏻
I post accountability in my stories every day to help me stay on track, but really its to prove to myself that even with all these setbacks I can still complete this program that got me the absolutely strongest, both physically and mentally.
Stop being afraid to fail, or get rejected, or miss a workout or talk about your pain girlfriend. Every season has a reason. You’re being redirected. Keep persevering 🖤✨ #yougotthis #summerofchallenge #day57of80 #rejectionisredirection #migrainesarescary #youarestrongaf
