This weapon has been training with me for just over 2 years. His strength and fitness continues to come along in leaps and bounds. This past week @therealgymllc , has been good making improvements, learning a lot from my brotha @ezekielfitness. One thing that I have learned, is that your warm up sets are just as important as your working sets. If you come across an issue while pulling during your warm ups, get it figured out before adding more weights because Im sure if you have an issue during your warm up and you just keep adding the weight on, youll still have the issue under the heavier load, take time to figure out the problems your having work it out, get it fixed before moving on! Thats just my take on it, though. As you can see and hear from my coach I was pulling the bar into me instead of bring my hips to the bar which was causing me to lose my balance. We worked it out, and got the problem dealt with then and there before moving into my working sets. You can easily spot the difference in the pulls from first to last. So today I managed to pull -650 lbs-during my first deadlift session with @aferchen at his badass gym @elitefitnessnf I’m generally not one to max out on lifts as it isn’t typical “bodybuilder” training, but it is good to mix things up and today was actually a lot of fun.
