Welche Körperposition die vorteilhafteste ist, hängt in erster Linie von Zielsetzung und möglichen Bewegungseinschränkungen ab. Wir nehmen an, dass keine Mobilitätsprobleme oder akute Schmerzen in der Schulter oder in der Wirbelsäule vorliegen. Schauen wir uns relevante Punkte an, die deine Stabiltät auf der Bank verbessern.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 1️⃣ Drück deine Fersen in den Boden: ⁣⁣ Zuerst suchst du dir in einer etwas breiteren Ausrichtung (ca. etwas breiter als schulterbreit) deiner Beine, eine ganzflächige stabile Position am Boden. Ziehe deine Füße so weit wie möglich an, sodass die Zehenspitzen sich ungefähr auf Kniehöhe befinden. Die Fersen sollen dabei nicht abheben. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 2️⃣ Hast du die Position ausgehend von deiner aktuellen Mobilität gefunden, wirst du merken, dass durch das Drücken der Fersen in den Boden dein Gesäßmuskel kontrahiert und das Hüftgelenk gestreckt wird. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 3️⃣ In dieser stabilen Position hebt sich dein Brustbein und es ermöglicht dir den Anpressdruck der Schulterblätter auf die Bank zu erhöhen. Das bedeutet, du versuchst deine Schulterblätter nach hinten und unten zu ziehen, damit dein Oberarmkopf sich in der Schultergelenkspfanne sicher zentrieren kann. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 👉🏼 Hast du diese Punkte befolgt, wirst du beim nächsten Mal sehr wahrscheinlich eine wesentliche stabiler Körperposition beim Bankdrücken einnehmen können. HIIT is a great training tool, when it’s used correctly. • Using it 5-6x per week like some ‘body coaches’ 👀 get people to do is stupid. It definitely isn’t the ‘best way’ to get lean. • If you genuinely did High Intensity Interval Training, day after day after day, your Central Nervous System (CNS) would take a hammering. But really, I eat them bc they’re sooo delicious, convenient, and cheap! ❤️. We eat them almost every single day. ⠀ 🤔Did you ever wonder what happens as they change in color? If so, here you go! ⠀ green —> yellow —> brown as the 🍌ripens: ✅resistant starch content decreases ✅tastes sweeter - resistant starch turns into sugar ✅gets digested easier and quicker (causing a spike in the blood sugar) ✅some of the micronutrient levels decrease - happens with all produce to some degree once harvested ✅antioxidant levels increase ⠀ For babies and toddlers, really green #bananas may be too hard on their little tummies and can cause or make pre-existing constipation worse. ⠀ they are a great source of prebiotics though (check out my previous post). I purchase unripe banana and start offering it to Caleb when it is predominately yellow with a slight hint of green (as pictured). Yellow ones disappear ever so quickly around here, and the brown ones get used for baking 👍. ⠀ ⏰if you want to speed up the ripening process, place in a brown paper bag. if you want to slow it down then place in the refrigerator. #mondayfeels I have to say something really quick to my fellow natural athletes. Over the last 3-4 months I’ve watched SO many females post about wishing they had pulled back BEFORE their last show of the season. I’ve watched women continue to push for one or two more shows for many weeks after they knew, deep down, that they were checked out 🙅🏼‍♀️both mentally and physically. I’ve watched their physiques whither. I witnessed their once fully peak muscle bellies deteriorate considerably despite application of solid peaking techniques, diet breaks and refeeds. There comes a point when the body says 👉🏻loud and clear—“NO MORE!” How do I know? I’ve been there. I felt ok before Chicago. In my mind I was sure I felt as good as one COULD possibly feel under the circumstances. I’m sure many of you told yourselves the same thing. Even through peaking I thought “hey, this is not so bad.” But in hindsight that was actually just the fact that I was growing more and more “comfortable” with feeling like death. 🧟‍♀️ It was normal now. But this picture above was the BEST I could do after several shows over the prior 7-8 months and this is actually no where near my best conditioning historically. I did, genuinely think I was “ok”. Listen, all I’m saying is that your friends, family and followers are likely going to keep encouraging you. There will always be someone chanting: “never quit! Keep pushing! You got this! Winners never give up!” So it’s UP TO YOU to check in with yourself, hold you head high and do one of the HARDEST things to do as an athlete and that is👇🏻 Walk away 👋🏻 I know, I know...”champions never blah, blah, blah”. Whatever. Can we put aside the bro memes for a second and talk about doing the responsible thing? My heart breaks a little when I read these posts, especially if we beat ourselves up over poor placings when WE KNEW we weren’t at our best and should have stopped when our gut told us to. Be bold friends. I’ll work on it too. We can grow into smarter, more independent athletes but we have to do a better job of tuning into truth-not hype or social pressure. Por mucho tiempo las hice con contrapeso, ahora paso a hacerlas en la barra, sin ningún tipo de ayuda, más que la fuerza de mis músculos.
