Just want to talk a little bit about freedom and choice around food.
Coming from a past of a very restrictive, disordered place it used to be very hard to be spontaneous and relaxed when it comes to eating out or food choices.
Now I can look back and see how far I’ve come. Food is part of life, food should be enjoyable and not a stress or a hinderance, going out for food is fun, exciting and an opportunity to try something new without having to know exactly what’s in it or how it was cooked.
✨ FREEDOM: I really believe freedom around food and want you put into your body is important for a healthy mind and life. Meals out, choosing what you WANT not what you feel you should have.
✨ MEALS OUT WON’T KILL YOU: Tracking can be a really good way to get to your goals, whether that be to gain, lose or maintain but it can also cause very restrictive, unhealthy habits when it comes to mentally. ✨TRACKING ISN’T THE ONLY WAY: Believe it or not you can actually achieve goals without tracking and it can be better for your mental health. Not saying there is anything wrong with tracking but it can become obsessive.
