Excited fear feels like "oh man wouldn't that be wild if I could do that" where as a dreading fear might feel like "that sounds like the worst idea on the planet, nope" ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Another way to test is to consider whether doing that hard thing will take you in the direction you want to go. I'm sorry you've been told that (sustainable) results can happen fast with a diet pill, detox tea, waist trainer, "fat blasting HIIT workout" targeting a specific body part, cutting a food group because it's "bad" or "toxic", superfood shake, taking all the natural supplements for your hormones, or that energy drink that promises you to turn into an calorie burning superhuman. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ They are preying on your weaknesses & insecurities in hopes to get you to buy their product or program....and because you want it so bad, you buy what they swear is the best thing ever. I get it...I can't tell you how much money I've wasted on bullshit products over the years. The entire health & fitness industry is multi billion dollar industry...that's not by mistake. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ They've lead you to believe that hard work isn't required and that's utter bullshit. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ They didn't get that physique by jumping around....they got it by spending years busting their butt in the gym & focusing on their nutrition, even though now it's "easy" to maintain their physique with plyometric workouts (let's call it what it is- they aren't true "HIIT") and donuts. but they leave that little detail out.... because who wants to buy a program or coaching with the disclaimer that say "results are going to be slow and not linerar. It's going to take you years of hard work if you truly want what you say you do". ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I hate discouraging people, but that's not my intention. the honest truth that building a body you want takes BODYBUILDING. It takes years of hard work and intention with your nutrition and workouts...and doing similar workouts over & over. I get that it's not for everyone, but YOUR EXPECTATIONS HAVE TO MATCH YOUR EFFORTS.
