This ain't fog, this is the haze caused by the forest fire in Indonesia as viewed in Balamban area, a municipality in Cebu prov. Going there, you will expect a greenery view and a refreshing air to welcome you during a fine day, but this time it's different. When we went there just this weekend, we were welcomed by a partly grayish sky, hazy mountain view, and humid air. So sad but we still enjoyed our trip though.
If some of you are still curious about the haze in the City of Cebu (naman) then ang masasabi ko lang, it is more visible when you are in an elevated area like on top of a building. If you are just roaming around the city, you won't see what's really going on. People don't even care to wear mask, aside for those who are aware about the haze and its effect on their health (actually wala pa talaga akong nakitang naka-n95 mask so far. Pero ang sabi sold-out na raw sa mga pharmacy na napagtanungan ng Ate ko, kaya di rin kami nakabili 😂. Kaya isa na rin kami sa mga taong pasaway. 😂 I am just wearing the surgical mask which is not enough actually.😷😷😷). So by now, some may already be experiencing asthma attack, cough, eye irritation, or other health probs without realizing that it could be the haze that's triggering their illness. 😔😔😔 Be safe people. .
