My computer is old ya’ll.... old and FULL of stuff. It makes doing work difficult and time consuming.... 🙄 which is why this week I’m spending time cleaning ALL the things off of it. Working to make it easier to do work. It’s a purge week. dark chocolate protein PB bites 🤩 these babies are no bake, freezer fudge style!! they are perfect pre-workout or for dessert/after meals💯these are the real deal, so simple to make and are legit ADDICTING. hope you love them as much as i do! -  PB LAYER: 1 cup oats, blended into flour 1/2cup peanut butter (I used @crazyrichardspb PB) 2 large scoops of protein powder* You use any kind of protein powder. I used @1stphorm CTC Phormula 1. water to thin/get it to the right consistency - DARK CHOCOLATE LAYER: 2 squares of @hukitchen dark chocolate  1tsp coconut oil blend dry ingredients in a food processor till a dough-y consistancy forms. stuff the mix into silicone ice cube tray mold, let em freeze for an hour or two. pop em out, dip the tops in dark chocolate mixture and top with fleur de sel sea salt!! ENJOY my loves🤗

The ᗰEᒪTᗰᗩKEᖇ🔥 . . This is a move that you challenge your body to max out on a few times throughout the 100 days. It’s brutal at the end of a 30 minute lifting session, but it burns so good. I thought I was a boss on workout 19 using 8s and making it the full 100 seconds even with push ups on my knees. It was challenging, but I was proud. Today, I used 10s and rocked the 100 seconds with struggle, but my form is a lot better and my pace is faster. Next time, I’m trying 12s.👏🏼 . Not every victory is scale based. In fact, a lot of my journey now is based on how I 𝙛𝙚𝙚𝙡 versus the scale changing or shredding inches. Maintenance is my game now & I’m loving the adventure. Ain’t no shame in my game. Pizza, donuts & ice cream > chiseled abs and restrictive diets.✌🏻#BALANCE

Happy #MovementMonday IDPT! This week, we are back to our motto, “happy hips = happy life”. • “Hip Strengthening Part 2”— feat. Dr. Wroblesky This movement, led by Tamra, focuses on stability, range of motion, and maintaining balance in regards to the hips. This workout includes the following exercises— goblet squats, single leg deadlifts, bulgarian split squats, hip opener lunges, hip opener curtsy squats, and side plank hip strengthening. Start out with these exercises on their own and eventually begin to add a free weight, if comfortable. Remember, keep these movements slow and controlled; do not allow momentum to produce random swinging, which can be achieved by keeping your pelvis centered and not allowing it to rotate throughout these movements. In countries like India, it's possible to study kids who almost always go barefoot, as well as kids who almost always wear shoes. Another social media detox story. . I feel like lately I see just as many posts about the importance of limiting or modifying your social media engagement as I see regular posts. Not that I don’t agree with the message. I’ve personally worked on my attachment to social media and my phone in general. Cutting back on mindless scrolling, not checking things within the first hour of being awake or the last hour before going to sleep, letting go of needing to document every moment or thing that happens because it could make a good post. . I find it to be a bit of a conundrum at times. Like when I see a post that says “stop scrolling!” - and I think “yeahhh but you posted this in a space that you’re telling people not to look as much.” And then I think about accounts with certain advice that they probably aren’t following themselves, or the accounts where the people behind them are not doing any of the posting and management of the content. . I personally felt amazing detaching from my phone for majority of our vacation to Florida last week. And I’m pleased to be back to the flow of work. I appreciate both scenarios and practice having a healthy relationship to it all. Because if I’m about balance, then it’s about utilizing the tool of social media for all the amazing things it provides AND being fully present for my life that happens outside of filters and captions. . How do you feel about taking breaks from social media and technology?

So my next few posts are going to be on food and health. It’s a little tangent from the environment, but know that I am still being my best green self while starting this new journey. 🌳 I got on board with a personal trainer friend of mine and her 14 day challenge to eat better and exercise because I needed a jumpstart. I am one week in and already feel different. Counting calories can be annoying, but once you really see how much excess we use in areas like cooking oil, added sugar and portion sizes, it’s really eye opening. 👀 I’m going to post my versions of balanced meals that were based on convenience, maximum health, and flavor combined. These three things don’t always go together, so this is challenging. And I’ll always be keeping sustainability in mind. 🌿

oats on the go this morning to meet two of my best friends for coffee.. pretty much my ideal morning💘 in other newssss I’m super sore. it’s super weird that I just can’t seem to recover as fast as I usually do🤨 so I ditched my tempo & today’s movement consisted of an easy 4 miles & upper body lift. ¿Cómo mejorar mi estrés Fisico? Un ejercicio desmedido y fuera de contexto, puede desgastarnos, elevar nuestros niveles de cortisol e insulina, generar químicos inflamatorios, respuestas auto-inmunes y provocar que nuestro metabolismo esté en un estado de supervivencia que lo obligue a almacenar grasa y a desarrollar cada vez más problemas de salud. Se ha comprobado que un ejercicio de intensidad moderada por 30 minutos de 3 a 4 veces por semana, es la mejor receta para mantener la salud, el peso y el equilibrio con la vida social y personal.
